The only thing more refreshing than yoga outdoors is yoga on the water.
If you love yoga and you love the water, this is the class for you. It combines the cardiovascular workout of a SUP class with the strength, balance, flexibility and relaxation benefits of yoga.
We'll start with a warm-up on the beach, followed by a short explanation of how to paddle (if you've never used a SUP board before, we recommend taking an intro to SUP class before your first SUP yoga class). Once we hit the water, we'll spend a bit of time cruising and getting used to the feel of the board and the sea beneath us. Then, our floating yoga practice will begin, starting with easy seated poses and gradually progressing to more challenging asanas.
Even if you've never been on a SUP board before or you're not a regular at your local yoga studio, don't worry! Once they let go and release their fear and apprehension, most people find SUP yoga to be surprisingly accessible. Every class is catered to the needs of the particular students who book it, so all levels are welcome! We look forward to having you join us on the water.
